The room where it stops being someday.
The Big Step is Learn Overseas' study-abroad event, back for a third season. It is not a seminar and it is not a stall crawl. You book a slot, you sit down with a counsellor who has already read your form, and you work through the four things that actually decide whether this happens: your profile, your country, your money and your calendar.
If you're in your first year, you'll leave knowing what to fix while there's still time. If you graduate in 2027, you'll leave with an intake to hit and a list of what to collect. Either way you stop guessing.

None of it is compulsory — you'll be seen either way. But the more of this you have on you, the more specific the answers get.
- Your marksheets10th, 12th and every semester so far — photos on your phone are fine.

- A rough budgetEven a range. Money is the fastest way to narrow a country list.

Where this goes
Eight destinations, one conversation.
You don't have to have picked a country. Most students who walk in haven't — that is the conversation. Each of these has a different cost, a different intake calendar and a different bar to clear, and an hour is enough to work out which one fits you.

Does it cost anything?
No. Registering is free and attending is free. There is nothing to pay at any point on the day.
I haven't decided on a country yet. Should I still come?
Yes — that's the most common reason people come. Picking a country is a question of budget, intake timing and what your profile clears, and that is exactly what the session works through.
I haven't taken IELTS. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Choose “Planned” or “Yet to decide” on the form. Part of what you'll leave with is whether you need a test at all, which one, and when to sit it.
Can my parents come with me?
Yes, and it usually helps. Funding is one of the four things the session settles, and that conversation tends to need whoever is paying in the room.
I'm only in my first year. Is it too early?
No — it's the best time. Most of what limits your options later (backlogs, weak semesters, a missing test) is still fixable in first and second year. Later on you're choosing between what's left.
What happens after I register?
Our team contacts you on the WhatsApp number you gave to confirm a slot and tell you what to bring. Your form is read before your session so you don't spend it repeating the basics.
